A family of five. Husband and wife, Chris and Laura who meet in Darwin 2014 whilst both serving in the Army. Together we have lived all over Australia but now we reside in Newcastle, NSW. We have 3 beautiful children, Arlo (4), Koa (2) and Lottie (0).

Always having a passion for art and design, I’m a self-taught landscape photographer, and a watercolour and digital artist. With a strong love for the seaside, outback and Australia’s beautiful flora I wanted to use those elements to create something that I believed was a gap in the market when shopping for my children.

We aim to design pieces that nurture and grow your child’s imagination with our love of colour and shape, whilst blending into your home with aesthetic designs.

Milky Designs is a small family run business. It’s full of late nights and weekend work, ups and downs. Mistakes and achievements but mostly excitement, passion and dedication to a business we truly love.
